Quilting B’s pattern

Supplies:
2 panels large blocks, quilt uses 8 blocks                   2 yards yellow honeycomb fabric
2 panels small blocks, quilt uses 15 blocks                 3 yards backing fabric

When making this pattern, the strips were cut as needed and the measurements are not nice and neat and orderly.
It’s a messy pattern! When piecing, there is no real way to put them together in rows or columns, so you may find places where you have to sew pieces that form an “L” shape. Good luck!

From the yellow honeycomb fabric, first cut out the borders. Cut (4) 4.5” x 72” strips for borders.
Then cut (3) 2” x 72” strips for binding. Use leftover fabric to cut enough strips to complete binding when finished.

Following the layout, use the large panel squares and the smaller panel squares where indicated. The large panel squares measure approx. 12” square and the smaller squares are approx. 7.5” square. There are small blue circle blocks from the edge of the panels used throughout the quilt also. These will be cut out in one, two or three at a time to form small blocks.

In the diagram, the strips cut from the yellow honeycomb fabric are marked and placed near their coordinating block. So there are (3) pieces marked #1. Two squares are the small panel blocks, and the #1 in-between  is the yellow strip we need to cut. Block #7 has two strips marked #7 that are the same size and #7a that are another size.

Following the labels on the diagram, theses are the pieces of yellow you’ll need.
